Diane Garrett

Diane Garrett is Deputy Editor at Variety, where she oversees and plans long-range features. Prior to this role, she edited the front of the magazine, served as senior TV editor, features editor and covered film and digital media; she also served as events editor for two awards seasons. She previously worked at three digital startups and worked for TV Guide and Movieline; her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Hollywood Reporter and various other entertainment publications.
